How do I fit them? ▾
Thread the strap through an opening in the rim and around the tyre, put the end into the buckle and pull tight. Spread several straps around the wheel, on both drive wheels. Drive slowly until you're free.
Is it the same as snow chains? ▾
No. Snow Grip are traction straps that help you get unstuck when the wheels spin – on the cabin hill, on the farm road or out of the plough bank. They are not type-approved as snow chains and are not made for driving far. Take them off once you're free.
How fast can I drive with them on? ▾
Slowly. Drive gently and only as far as you need to get free, then take them off.
Will they fit my car? ▾
They fit most rims with openings the strap can pass through. Fully closed rims or hubcaps without openings won't work. If you're unsure, send us a photo of the wheel.
